Recap / Review: Wrong. Everybody was all types of wrong. Mimi was wrong to invite Steebie to Nikko’s function. All he did was drive a wedge between her and Nikko (which was probably what she wanted). Mimi was also wrong to expect a starring role in the next man’s video. Hey, Mimi. Ever heard of YouTube? Make your own damn video. And stop blaming Steebie for your pain. You stayed with that fool, of your own free will, for over 15 years.

Nikko was wrong for promising Mimi a featured role in that wack-azz video, when everybody knows that he was just using her to be relevant. Which was stupid, because Mimi ain’t relevant. And showing up to Mimi’s photoshoot was some of the fakest Mona-Scott staging that we’ve ever seen.

K.Michelle was wrong for choosing to reconcile with Karlie Redd, instead of her good friend, Mimi. Plus, Karlie Redd knew she was wrong for bringing that Dis record to K.Michelle’s party. And how wrong was Ariane to play it? Pretending she didn’t listen to the lyrics. Ariane, please. You messy.

And Kirk Frost… OMG. Just wrong for no damn reason. Some of the comments he made to his mother-in-law were beyond disrespectful. Last, and certainly least, Steebie should look at Benzino as a cautionary tale. One day, Steebie is gonna be old, and alone, wishing the girls he disrespected were still in his life.

Recap / Review: In a word. Epic. King Edward IV of England, from the House of York, who’s crown still hangs in the balance, depending on the outcome of the war, married Lady Elizabeth Grey, who’s family once supported the House of Lancaster. Romance. Politics. Treachery. We have been enraptured with this series, foaming at the mouth for the next episode.

Costumes. Scenery. Props. They all blended perfectly with memorable characters, twisting plots, and a well-developed story. The pacing was fast, which was unexpected, but much appreciated. Plus, we love a good villain, and so far… there’s two. James Frain (The Tudors) as Lord Warwick, and Duchess Cecily, the mother of King Edward IV.

And our favorite character from the Pilot was Jacquetta, Lady Rivers, played by Janet McTeer. As Elizabeth’s mother, Jacquetta carefully guides her family through the politics of the crown. We also like that she’s a self-proclaimed sorceress. Historical drama with an element of sci-fi-fantasy. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Normally, we would take more requests, but at the moment, we can’t. We’re busy watching the 1st and 2nd seasons of Suits, and Person of Interest.

For a well-established series, with a well-established fandom, we have to watch the entire series from the beginning to catch up what we missed. It’s the only way.

Otherwise, we’ll be lost, and or worse yet… we’ll say something stupid. So we watch the entire series. In fact, for any show that we blog about, we’ve seen every episode. —WatchColorTV

Recap / Review: Cesare defeated Caterina Sforza. Lucrezia confessed her passions for Cesare, and Cesare later expressed the same desire. Lucrezia’s husband was killed… part suicide, part homicide, part accident…. and for Lucrezia’s husband, Alfonso, it was all stupidity.

Micheletto was replaced by Rufio. The Pope told Cesare that he wanted to transform the papacy into a kingdom, transferring power from father to son, like a monarchy. And the Italian city-states began to acknowledge Rome as a super-power governed by the Pope and Cesare Borgia.

This was the last episode in the series. And speaking as a fan of the show. We deserved at least one more season.

Raising Whitley: Renewed for Another Season

Despite low ratings, Raising Whitley is coming back for another season. The Oprah Winfrey Network announced that Season 2 will contain 10 new episodes, which is 2 more than Season 1, scheduled for broadcast in early 2014. If they move it away from Saturday night, we might watch.
