Scandal, S01E01: “What can we do?”


Using Quinn Perkins as a “fish out of water" was a brilliant plot device.  Quinn was new to Pope & Associates.  It was the first episode.  And having the staff explain to Quinn Perkins what they do, and how they do it, was the most natural way to provide exposition, without dragging down the plot.
