Honestly, for us… he’s both. Now, speaking as Olitz Shippers, we absolutely abhor his stance on the divorce. Cyrus should let the man pursue the love of his life, and who gives a damn about the re-election.
However.
Speaking as loyal citizens of the Scandalverse, we would willingly die to keep Fitz in that office. Why? He’s a Republican, who’s Chief of Staff is openly Gay in a monogamous marriage, and Fitz has frequently declared his love for a woman of color. That doesn’t happen very often.
So we understand Cyrus’ reasoning for keeping Fitz in the White House. By any means necessary. To have a POTUS who promotes people of color, Gay rights, plus Fitz genuinely cares about the welfare of the Scandalverse. Wow. That’s practically unheard of.
Therefore… and we hesitate to admit it… but if we were Cyrus… we would probably do the same thing that he’s doing. Yeah, that would suck for Olitz. But for countless minorities… they would finally have a voice on Capital Hill.
Sorry. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Olitz can wait 4 more years.
This is a conversation that we frequently have. Because you know what they say. The same way you got him, is the same way you’re gonna lose him. In other words, Fitz cheated on Mellie to pursue Liv. Which begs the question, would Fitz ever cheat in Liv to pursue someone else? Hmmm.
Of course, we risk our lives with the mere introduction of this topic. As you know, we’re Olitz Shippers, and this entire post falls into several unfavorable categories. Blasphemy. Heresy. Lunacy. The list goes on… but it’s the summer hiatus. We gotta talk about something of interest. So let’s continue…
Now, some people might say that Fitz stepping out with Liv was a one-time thing. But that’s not true. Fitz slept with Amanda Tanner, and he gave her a dog. So the question still stands, if Fitz married Olivia… would he cheat?
We’re gonna have to say, No. Having a bullet lodged inside your brain can cause a person to re-evaluate a few things. Appreciate life. And cherish what matters most. Therefore, we think Fitz would dedicate his entire being to Olitz. After all, he worked damn hard to to earn Olivia’s love. But that’s just our 2 cents. What do you think?
